Remember the first time you fell in love? Your heart was filled with joy. You were content with everything. You had a perpetual smile on your face. People took a look at you and realized that you were in love. Day dreaming when the teacher was talking about… who knows what and who cares. Filled with the thought of your love. Waiting to meet your love. Hoping that your attire, your attitude pleases your love.

The LORD remembers. The LORD remembers the devotion of our youth. Jesus Christ remembers how we loved Him when we fell in love with Him.

The LORD remembers. Those days when our heart found a peace that surpasses all human understanding. The peace that kept us smiling even during some of the toughest days in our life. Because of our devotion for Him. Yes, He remembers.

The LORD remembers. When our heart was filled with joy that can not be described by mere words. The joy of our salvation. The joy of knowing that we are loved more than anything. The joy of knowing that we are loved by the Lord Almighty. Yes, Jesus remembers.

The LORD remembers. How eager we were for our time of prayer, to spend our time with our Redeemer, talking to Him, communing with Him, spending time to read and meditate on His Word. Yes, our Savior remembers.

On this darkest hour, may be you have forgotten all these. During these tumultuous times, you don’t have a clue about whether the LORD still loves you or not. But, the LORD remembers… He remembers the devotion of your youth. And, the LORD who remembers your love will surely bless you.
