Sometimes, Christian life does not make sense. Okay, most of the times, Christian life does not make sense – that is, common sense. If you have tried to live a life of faith, by the Word of God, then I am sure you will agree with me.

The Bible talks of one such incident. Our Lord Jesus Christ had already instructed the disciples that they had to go to the other side that night and then He went up to the mountains to be alone. Apostle John talks about the predicament of the disciples in his Gospel.

John6 17

There are times, when we are ready to follow the Word of our LORD, instead of bright shining light, we may find darkness around us. When we expect the overpowering presence of the LORD, we are acutely reminded that Jesus has not YET joined us.

But, press on dear friend, move on. The LORD has given His Word for us to move ahead and He will never fail us. It may be dark now. Obstacles and opposition may rage against us, but hold on the Word that He gave. The Lord may not have YET joined us, but He will be there at the moment you need Him. And if He has to tread on waters for your sake, He will walk on the waters. But, press on, my dear friend.

Yes, the LORD may not have joined us YET, but He will be there.
