Day 1. Joshua 1:5

No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

After being a fierce Catholic and growing up in Catholic institutions, I was terrified when the Lord finally called me into His truth. Suddenly I was all alone and I had no one to turn to. My family would not have accepted me. My friends would have deserted me. Knowing all these, yet the call of the Lord on that cold night on December 8th was unmistakeable. As I was struggling with my fears, He promised me that He will never leave me nor forsake me.

And I can tell you this. Till this day, He Who has promised is faithful. I had gone away from Him. I had betrayed Him. But every time, when I was deep in the abyss and looked at Heavens and called out to Him, I had always felt His presence surrounding me and lifting me up.

Lord, I thank You for this precious promise in my life. Though there were situations where You would be justified perfectly if You had left me or forsaken me. But You have not. You have not. Thank You, Father. Through Your Son and my Saviour, Jesus Christ, Amen.
